Taszár, 1992
A második nemzetközi repülőnap megrendezésére 1992-ben került sor Magyarországon. Az előző év nagy sikerrel zárult eseménye után a nézők nagy lelkesedéssel várták a repnapot.
Amíg 1991-ben a statikus sort szinte uralta a USAF gépeivel, ebben az évben a kiállított típusok hovatartozása sokkal kiegyenlítettebb volt. Bár lehetett látni amerikai gépeket is, a tavalyival összehasonlítva jóval több európai ország küldött gépeket a statikus sorra. Látható volt német Tornado és Alpha Jet, belga F-16-os, román és olasz gyakorlógépek úgyszintén, stb. Volt néhány érdekes támogató szerepkörű gép is, számunkra legérdekesebbnek az igazán viharvert holland Fokker 27-es, a német Dornier 28-as, és a színes olasz G-222-es bizonyult. A Magyar Légierő szinte összes típusát kiállítva láthattuk ebben az évben is.
Ez évben a dinamikus bemutatón is több ország vett részt. A gyakorlógépek közül megjelent egy-egy lengyel PZL-130-as (még gyári színekkel), román IAR-99 Soim és olasz MB-339-es. Sajnos 1992-ben a Csehszlovák Légierő nem küldött MiG-29-eseiből, de szerencsére a USAF részt vett a bemutatón egy bitburgi F-15C-vel és egy spangdahlemi F-4G-vel. A nézőket lenyűgözte a Harrier magyar debütálása is.
Amíg 1991-ben csak egy bemutató csoport érkezett Taszárra, addig 92-ben hármat is láthattunk. A Patrouille de Suisse még régi gépeivel, a Hunterekkel repült. Míg a Patrouille de France a tőlük megszokott hagyományosan magas színvonalon repült, addig a lengyel Iskry csoport az első külföldi szereplésüket a nagyon alacsony áthúzásokkal tette látványossá. Ennek ellenére a leglenyűgözőbb programot mégiscsak a három magyar MiG-21-es légiharca jelentette, melynek során az élénksárga színű, cápafogas festésű Fishbed megpróbálta megszorongatni a két terepfestésűt. Az ő repülésük az 1993-as RIAT-on is nagy sikert aratott - a rövidéletű csoport feloszlatása Magyarország számára egyben öt év kényszerpihenőt jelentett a nagyszabású repülőnapok megrendezése tekintetében is.

1992 was the year of the second international air show in Hungary. Following the previous year.s very successful event, the spectators had high expectations.
While in 1991 the static display was dominated by the USAF, this year the mix of exhibited aircraft was more balanced. Although American planes could have been seen, more European countries sent their assets to the static display. One could see a German Tornado and an Alpha Jet, Belgian F-16s, Romanian and Italian trainers, etc.There were some interesting support planes exhibited also. A really weather-worn Dutch Fokker 27, a German Do-28 and a colourful Italian G-222 were the highlights of this category for the Hungarian visitors.The Hungarian Air Force also put on display almost everything they had.
There were more countries participating in the flight displays than in 1991. The trainers included a Polish PZL-130, still in factory colours, a Romanian IAR-99 Soim and an Italian MB-339.Unfortunately the Czechoslovakian Air Force this year didn't bring any of their MiG-29s, but the USAF was here with a Bitburg F-15C and a Spangdahlem F-4G. The spectators were amazed by the Hungarian debut of the Harrier.
While in 1991 there was only one demo team at Taszar, this year three could be seen. The Patrouille de Suisse was still flying their old mount, the Hunter. While the Patrouille de France has flown their much trained regular high level show, the very first international appearance of the Polish Team Iskry, made their show remarkable with the very low passes.However, one of the most spectacular events was the dogfight of three Hungarian MiG-21s during which a bright yellow sharkmouthed Fishbed tried to attack the two camouflaged ones. Their program was one of the highlights of the 1993 RIAT - however, the disbandment of this ad hoc team that year meant the end of the international air shows for five years in Hungary.
